The SASAPD is the official governing body for sport for the physically challenged. It carries the significant responsibility of developing young athletes and organising national events to allow athletes to qualify for global competitions such as the Paralympics.
 
 

Soweto Home For the Aged 

The Soweto Home for the Aged is a registered non-profit organization that was established in 1988. The Home was borne out of the desperate need to provide care for the homeless, the destitute, the neglected and the needy elderly persons of Soweto and the neighbouring areas.
 

Netball South Africa

Netball South Africa is the peak governing body for the sport of netball in South Africa, which is responsible for overseeing the practice of the sport across the country. Additionally, NSA is the managing body for the National Netball Team – the Spar Proteas.
 

Gary Kirsten Foundation 

The Gary Kirsten Foundation developed and launched the CoachEd platform in collaboration with a team of international coaches. The licensed platform is designed to enable aspiring coaches to complete an accredited online coaching qualification that provides a balanced combination of theoretical and practical knowledge.
 
 

Blue Birds Ladies FC

Blue Birds Ladies Football Club is based in Alexandra & is playing under  the SAFA SASOL Provincial Womens League. Their vision is to develop and nurture women through soccer while at the same time shaping them to have a successful career path leading to economic access and social equality.
 

SA Deaf Football Association(SADFA)

Since its inception back in April 2001, SADFA, an associate member of the South African Football Association (SAFA), has been overseeing the development and administration of football for the deaf in South Africa.

 

KwaThema Disability Sports Club

KwaThema offers access to sporting opportunities for differently abled persons in the form of Athletics, Wheelchair Tennis and Cerebral Palsy Soccer, it has been in existence since 2011 under the leadership of founder and director, Aubrey Mathibela.
 

Western Cape Sport Association for the Disabled 

WPSAPD is an affiliation of SASAPD (South African Sport Association for the Physically Disabled), they represent physically disabled sport at a provincial level, interacting and working closely with physically disabled and visually impaired sport clubs and schools.

 
Disabled People South Africa
DPSA, who are affiliated to KwaZulu-Natal Athletics, was established in 1984 by people living with disabilities as a mass movement to represent disabled persons and to assist them in gaining access to economic and recreational opportunities.

East Rand Excellence Soccer Academy is a community based football Club in Daveyton. The Academy focuses heavily on sports development. 

 
 

Langa Cricket Club

one of the very few township-based cricket clubs in Cape Town. In the recent years, Langa Cricket Club has continued to produce provincial players – with the current crop of players taking part in top-flight cricket, such as, Temba Bavuma, Malusi Siboto and Siyabulela Simetu, with a few more on the fringes expected to apply their trade in the cricket fraternity.

Wheelchair Basketball South Africa 

The WBSA is the official governing body for wheelchair basketball in South Africa. The association funds leagues and competitions with help from donors and provincial governments.
